After my brother died I received one of his old framed posters he'd bought when he worked in Ottawa in the 1970's. I took it apart to clean it & found an old paper dating back to the early 1900's used as fill. As my brother was a voracious reader & watcher of news, & a bit of a hoarder of papers, it seemed serendipitous that there would be an old newspaper hidden in this poster. Thus, the pieces of paper & the process intertwine, are & reflect him & his connection with the printed word.
