As an artist I'm deeply involved in precise and detailed works which at the same time have an absurdity in them. With this absurdic undertone I find air and space to keep things simple, for myself I tend to question abstraction versus realism and force that willingly into light satire.
I love the idea of time and the influential factors that time has on me and the things I try to produce.
The use of language is playing an increasing role in my daily practice. By doing research in literature and poetry I'm letting these subjects interfere and possibly take over my art production, because I love to seriously question if I should keep on producing artworks at all. At the same time valuing I'm this question so much that it is part of my practice.
