I am an artist living and teaching in Washington, DC. After living in Rome, Italy for 25 years, I am often inspired by the art and architecture that surrounded me there. Since I often teach printmaking classes to children, I decided to unite my love for Rome with a simple kid-friendly printing technique. I chose the theme "make mine a double", so I drew two views of each of my favorite fountains onto thin sheets of styrofoam and then printed them in the sketchbook with block printing ink.
