My name is Emma. I am currently a studying artist entering my senior year in a Bachelor of Fine Arts Program. I work with mixed media, fashion design, sculpture, and other mediums that suit my mood. I find myself most comfortable working with neutral aesthetics and incorporate all things of the neutral palette into everything I touch. I strongly believe simple is best and that I feel most blissful making everything around me beautiful. I decided to approach this sketchbook by incorporating my inner most (intoxicated) thoughts. Being a 20 something, I find myself migrating towards the bar scene on a regular basis. I've thoroughly enjoyed the process of observing the different types of characters who seem to make their way to these establishments. People of all ages are seeking love, sex, affirmation, companionship, a dance partner, or their next gin and tonic. For those seeking thought provoking conversation. For those looking to dance until they throw up. For those yearning to forget about that guy from yesterday. For those wishing they could be naked with a stranger. Or, for those who wish to scribble musings on a bar napkin while sipping a whiskey on the rocks. This book reveals the inner most thoughts and revelations of a 20 something who while slightly introverted, finds herself occasionally swigging a few back and letting loose.
