Art and Feminism has always been important for my process as a female artist living in a sexist country. Using embroidery as a subversive language and installations, my creations work as a protest against violence against women (especially in Brazil) and the reality of being a female artist. Photography and embroidery are my passion, and being able to give a new narrative for them keeps me going on. The photographs on this sketchbook were found in Antiques Fairs and Flea Markets in Brazil.
