I'm a Seattle-based visual designer and painter. I chose to do the sketchbook project to use some new mediums for my creativity and to be part of a larger art community. One of my greatest passions is to find beauty around me wherever I go, whether I'm summiting a mountain or crossing the pavement of the city streets. By trying new things, including writing and travel, I am constantly inspired and on the search for more.
I illustrated and wrote "Go On" as an encouragement to all. No matter what we are facing, we must find the courage to go on. My first step was to illustrate, THEN I wrote the story. I wanted to let the art dictate the story rather than the other way around. It was a task I worked on a little bit every day until the pages were filled. It was a great experience and I hope a little joy and encouragement is found for those who read my book.
