I approached the sketchbook as if I were using my own sketchbook. I work for a living in the Information Technology field, however, I need an artistic outlet. One hour before I go to work, I decided to dedicate that time for quick watercolor studies. (I don't have much time to work on the project, but I do get things done.) (It's not as fancy as other books I'm sure.) I am inspired by Glenn Vilppu and Betty Edwards, Bridgeman and others. (Some pages I left blank because I didn't want to ruin what was on the otherside of the paper.) Also, I am learning to do more Urban Sketching. You will note that I draw people at Starbucks in Playa Vista, Ca. or at Mel's diner on Ventura Blvd., in Sherman Oaks. If you happen to be sitting near me, you are "fair game" for one of my watercolor sketches. (I met some interesting people this way.) My favorite sketch is of Abraham Lincoln in the middle of the book on 10/4/17 with the quote, "If Slavery is not wrong, nothing is wrong". Enjoy.
