I actually started my Sketchbook again, completely. The idea I'd begun was still important to me, but I felt that it wasn't the right time in my art journey to do it. I chose to change my approach, and used the chance to further explore the loose style I've enjoyed working in for a while now. But even though I began again, I found that similar themes and sources of idea were still very important for me to include: such as telling a story, providing hope through my work, using symbolism and metaphor, and of course, pouring my heart and personality into my creation.
I began this version by writing down what subject matter I enjoy drawing, and what themes I wanted to include. I then planned out each page, in relation to the story/text which I found came quickly to me.
I hope that this can provide a bit of light to anyone who reads it during a greyer chapter of their life.
