I'm a young student, turning 12. My favourite things to do outside of school is drawing, reading (I really enjoy mystery books), writing, sleeping and eating! I found this Sketchbook ABSERLOUTLY amazing! It was heaps of fun and I really encourage other people to try out this super-awesome experience.
When I first picked up my sketchbook, I thought of writing a story, or some sort of picture book. While I was stroking our family dog, Woody, (He's a lab-retriever) I thought of making dog people, sort of like a Where's Wally book. (Thanks, Woody!)
This was SUPER fun because I drew all sorts of puppies, including ones that reminded me of some friends and family.
I normally pick up a blank drawing book, start a whole new story, get bored of it, then start on a new one, in a new book. (That's the reason why I have 2 dozen half-finished books on my bookshelf.) But with my new sketchbook? No, I wasn't going to make that same mistake again. My parents both encouraged me, non-stop for a couple of months, and I finally got it. I'm really grateful, because, without them, I might not have finished my sketchbook on time. The moral of this paragraph is to NEVER give up, even if you really think you can't do whatever you're doing because you CAN. Also, don't make the same mistake I made!
Thank you!! :-)
