For many of my teen and young adult years, I created holiday cards by cutting shapes and layering paper to form a bright but recognizable landscapes. This interest in silhouetted forms and color blocks inform my work in other media as well, as do an interest in landscape, bright colors and the use of windows as framing devices. The theme of Go-Between felt right to explore my interests in glass as a physical go-between. I was then inpired as I thought on other "go-betweens," such as movement in time, in space, from this page to that, and from idea to form. A go-between can also be a muse or omen-bringer.
