As a textile designer, I wanted to do a little print book. I'm used to built a print collection for a brand, so consistency is important for me, that's why I used black ink only. I played with the placement, like you would only see a corner of a fabric, and a piece of the trim. I wanted to stay graphic, with a visible handmade effect.
I like that it became a ritual like collecting fabrics swatches. Always the same tools, but a different motif, a different corner.
I like the idea of developing a library of print books with different styles (like collages, pastels, watercolor...).
