My Zentangle Odyssey began in 2014 and in June of 2014 I was fortunate to be able to attend the 28th Certified Zentangle Teacher training seminar. Discovering, learning, and mastering tangle patterns are my passion. My style: Using a tangle as the “String” & filling its empty spaces with other tangles. I call this #Entangling & the end result #Entangled. If I have a small space to fill, I may borrow a particular element of a tangle. I call these elements #ZenBits. Often, the negative space between patterns holds more interest for me and I will shade it to make it more artistically significant. Grid patterns and grid fragments drawn in reticula feature in much of my work as I find symmetrical things very pleasing.
