Jen Meyer has been creating art since she was a small child—it still shows on the undersides of her grandmothers furniture.
Over the past ten years, her work has been exhibited across the country and sold to collectors around the world. Her current interests include a love for exploring new places, the interconnectedness of things and people, specific nature, emotion in color, and our relationship with animals.
Since she became vegan in 2009, a large portion of her work has been made with the intention of inspiring compassion and respect for animals, by showcasing their natural beauty and individual personalities. She hopes to inspire a loving and caring connection with animals instead of seeing them merely as “food” and “products”.
Jen currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband, Tommy, their always hungry cat, Miss Kitty, and their lovable dog, Wasabi.
( I had major inertia with this book. I did it in the last two weeks before the deadline. I've moved twice with in the past year of my time in the Bay Area. So that's why it is only 7 pages. )
